New research suggests however, that a diet rich in foods with high calcium content such as cheese and milk may actually prevent kidney stones. Supplemental calcium pills conversely, help very little in a kidney stone cure and may even cause harm due to the fact that they increase the odds that a kidney stone will take root.
Very acidic urine can also be the reason for kidney stones. If you have this problem you will be asked to remove poultry, meat and fish from your diet. They enhance the level of acidity in the urine. Some studies show that vegetarian food helps in treating kidney stone cure.
